ability to reserve the Playroom on weekends once a year

Q: How do I get on the Madison Center Cooperative Playgroup waiting list?
A: To get on the waiting list, fill out the waiting list form and return it to the Madison Center Cooperative Playgroup. There is a $20 non-refundable fee per child to be placed on the Wait List.
Enrollment at the Madison Playgroup takes place at the beginning of the Spring, Summer and Fall sessions. First, we do internal registration for current children and their siblings. Then, working first from the waiting list, we begin external registration.
Q: How often do you take new members?
A: We take new members as spaces come available. Current children and siblings of current playgroup members have first priority.
Q: How many sessions are available and how many children are in each session?
A: We currently have 3 morning sessions (Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday or Friday) and 2 afternoon drop-in sessions (Monday and Thursday afternnons.) Morning sessions are limited to 12 children. Afternoon session groups are generally smaller.

Q: What is the time commitment as a parent for the drop-off morning sessions?
A: For the drop-off morning sessions, parents must work one out of every four session days (coordinate the activity, snack or beverage/cleanup), attend one business meeting annually hold a volunteer position by the second session.

A: For the afternoon drop-in sessions, parents stay for every session while their child(ren) attend the playgroup. Parents must also attend one business meeting annually and hold a volunteer position by the second session.
